mike and marlene burke we have stayed the last two winters at the alitana apartment. brilliant apartment, beautifully furnished with everything you need for a great holiday. great location two minutes from the beach and bars restuarants . alan is the perfect 'landlord', nothing is too much bother if you need any help at all, be it advice on places to visit, directions etc. we have also viewed his other apartments and all are to the same very high quality. we are back in finestrat next week and looking forward to meeting up with him again. and yes, we will get the kettle on for your cuppa!! we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these apartments for a great holiday. the alitana is especially great for young kids with the enclosed garden and pools. pauline and john we spent just over a month in alan's 2 bedroom sidney apartment in february/march this year and could not have wanted a better place to stay. it's a real home from home and could not be better equipped (i took some things out with me to cook with not dreaming a holiday apartment would have them but alan proved me wrong!!). the apartment is cosy especially if you put the heating on which was pretty cheap as a euro lasted a good while having uk tv was a real bonus as long as you remembered the hour difference in start times! we know cala finestrat really well having stayed there for a lot of years now but never in an apartment previously but it gave us much more freedom especially for a long term stay with a market right on the doorstep twice per week which has such lovely fresh fruit,vegetables and lots more. benidorm was a pleasant stroll for us and there are also walks close by which take you onto coastal paths away from everything. alternatively there is a frequent bus service into the town form wher you can get buses to places such as albir. now to alan himself you couldn't find anyone better to deal with so helpful and an excellent landlord and always willing to help if you need him and an all round top bloke! we are really looking forward to coming back in june and have already booked for 5 weeks next winter and have recommended alan and his apartments to friends. pat & george i fully agree with all the comment of the reviews below. alan could not be more helpful and the sydney 2 bedroom apartment is a real suntrap. the area is so convenient for the beach and nice friendly bars, especially winnies. it was nice to know about the bus ticket because it is so easy to get on the bus to benidorm for your coffee and brandy or tia maria for the ladies. we are going for 2 months over christmas because we enjoyed it so much last winter. thoroughly recommend this company. tony lewin a wonderful apartment in a very convenient position/location, just 5 minutes walk to the beach and surrounding facilities. the apartment was very clean and decorated to a high standard, it had all the facilities you would require i.e. washing machine, iron, towels etc. there is an onsite large clean swimming pool which is heated and enclosed in the earlier months , this pool is located in the apartments grounds and for use of residents only (not to be missed) shops ,bars, restaurants are very close by for self catering needs. the owner alan clark cannot do enough for you and is on hand if you have any problems. he even arranges your transport for you to and from the airport. i would highly recommend these apartments for families or adults and look forward to returning again myself. dawn parker i had been looking to hire a mini bus for 8 people , contacted a few companies, alan came back to me very quickly with a competitive price and was extremely helpful. he kept me up dated with the booking we made and sent details & pic of where the driver will be meeting us in may , so far this has been excellence service and very professional, thankyou alan for making this a smooth booking & i look forward to dealing with you chris phillips hi just want to say thank you alan for your quick response to my request for a mini bus for me and 17 of my friends.it was hard organizing this stag do but you have taken my travel arrangements for when we land and leave with times and dates very efficiently.thank you kathleen smith i would highly recommend this company, i have used them now for several years for both airport runs, after being let down by another company, and i have found this company completely reliable and professional in all my dealings with them. it is nice not to have to worry about this part of my holiday, i usually order a mini bus for 6, and the driver is always waiting for us, always a nice comfortable and pleasant ride and friendly driver, excellent service, can not fault them. john stainton my wife and i spent 6 weeks over last winter in the sidney 2 bedroom apartment and found it to be the best apartment we have ever stayed in. previously we have had long stays in two other apartments in benidorm and before that several long stays in apartments on the algarve. without a doubt this is the best by a long way, so much so that we have booked for a seven week stay this coming winter. alan could not have been more helpful and is very pleasant. i agree with all the previous comments. a little tip for would be bus users: buy one bus card from the driver for 2 euros, the card is then yours, it will not expire, ours is 4 years old. put 10 euros of credit on the card via the driver. tap the ticket machine for each passenger. there is a 30 cents discount on each ticket. it soon pays for the card. ticket shows balance. top up as necessary. all local buses are the same price. wonderful apartment. very helpful and obliging owner. anne mick andrew and bernie this summer will be our third holiday in alan's alitana apartment and we cannot wait. the first time we went we took our grandchildren with friends and it was a fantastic place for the girls. we felt they were completely safe in the enclosed garden area and they loved the pools especially the small pool. most times there was only the six of us there. the apartment is next door to the market twice weekly where we stocked up with lots of salad fruit and chickens on the spit for next to nothing. it is a five minute walk to the lovely safe beach and all the bars and restaurants. we especially loved all the tapas bars. the apartment itself is fantastic with an en suite bathroom, washing machine, sky and is very secure and well equipped and comfortable. alan is a star and will do anything for you as long as he gets his cuppa! he is around if you need him and speaks spanish if needed. he recommended bars and places to visit and gave us lots of information about finistrat and surrounding areas. he even supplied a pushchair when we said we were walking to benidorm with the girls. the second time we went it was just four adults and we had a great time so this year we are going for two weeks and so looking forward to it pam hepple looking forward to returning for the sixth time next week to one of these fabulous apartments. we first stopped in los altos and have been to the alitana three times and my grandson loved the freedom of the large garden, the pool is so quiet and the beach is just across the road. we have been to the two bedroomed sidney in the winter and the lovely winter sun in the afternoon on the balcony was a bonus and the heated indoor pool we always had it too ourselves. all of the apartments are stylishly furnished and having satellite tv is a bonus. we have already booked the three bedroomed apartment for the family to come out to next june. the icing on the cake is the warm geordie welcome we always get from clarkie, we have never had any problems but it is reassuring to know he is just a phone call away. we love la cala and sitting looking over the bay in one of the bars watching the sun go down, benidorm is just a bus ride or a good walk over the hill stopping at the many bars keeping refreshed and there are buses and trains to themes parks, aqua parcs and lovely towns up the coast, we have fallen in love with the place and these apartments diane wilkinson booked minibus for 5 people for return journey from alicante airport to benidorm at easter weekend, excellent service . mini bus was waiting for us at both destination , we had a very smooth comfortable journey and very polite driver. would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend this company . anita benson i have been staying at the sidney and the alitana apartments every year for the last 5 years staying up to 8 weeks with family and friends. "there are apartments and there are apartments"!!! these stunning apartments are spacious, comfortable, clean with added comfort of cosy settee's & wide screen tv. alan's attention to detail and effort to make you feel at home is exceptional with more appliances than you can imagine. location is fabulous with great views of the beach, use of lovely heated pool with market for fresh food on your doorstep twice a week. just home this month and can't wait for my trip back next year. highly recommended, just give these a try. i have had so many holiday apartments over the years and finestrat holiday apartments are by far the best. i have had enough of all of the others who dont care and just want the money. alan clark is passionate about his apartments and i know that each time that i reserve an apartment with him i will be very impressed on arrival, he even picks me up and if i ask he will take me on a major supermarket shop! who else would go the extra mile! anthony prescott my family and i stayed in the alitana 2 bedroom garden apartment offered by alan clark at finestrat holidays and couldn't recommend it highly enough. the apartment is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. it's location on the ground floor was ideal for my young family who made use of the safe garden area. the beach is literally a 2 minute walk away and there are also very nice restaurants and bars within the vicinity which were all child friendly. i would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing break in beautiful, relaxing surroundings. russel dove my wife and i have stayed at the sidney 2 bedroom apartment on numerous occasions. alan has always made us very welcome and is on hand if you need him. the apartment is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped from washing machine down to salt and pepper mill. alan has made all his apartments homely with pictures and flowers and keeps them in good decorative order. my wife is disabled and we do not go out of a night time so the sky tv with all the main english channels means we can watch films or general tv. it is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and supermarkets. the local bus service will take you to benidorm or the local hypermarket. alan will also collect and return you to the airport at alicante if you want him to. it is very quiet and peaceful area with no loud music or noisy people about and i can recommend the sidney apartment with confidence. we will be returning to the alitana garden apartment in oct which is equipped to the same high standard as the sidney apartment. bernie we have had 2 great summer holidays in finestrat (2013 and 2014), staying at two of the apartments available with 'finestrat holiday apartments'.the apartments were very well equipped -
